General Background Janamaitri Multiple Campus (JMC), recognized and admired as a reputed community college, has entered into a new arena with its formal certification of Quality Assurance and Assurance (QAA) from the University Grants Commission with an aim of fostering its students the sort of higher education to ensure easy professional settlement. The major aim of assisting higher educational institutions in the path of quality enhancement is to adjust our products fit professionally within our own country and make the best utilization of the nation’s resources to the optimum level. This, in fact, is in the line of dreaming Nepal as the most prosperous country with happy citizens. The UGC has further inspired the campus and assured its support in this field technically as well as financially. The support is further concerned with the output and outcome of the concerning educational institutions. Counseling and Placement Unit has been established in the campus with the aim of providing our esteemed students with the basic skills and counseling services to adjust them in professional sectors via job or business as per their capacity. Mere certificates of academic degrees of various levels can’t ensure their professional settlement in this highly competitive job or business market. The unit has to set its schemes of providing short and long term skill oriented trainings to support them adjust in the expected field. The unit also aims at seeking and co-working with various business organizations and agencies in course of assisting our graduates begin their career with them. So, the unit has its efforts in the field of counseling, trainings and placement works. General Objectives Counseling and Placement Unit (CPU) of the campus has the following objectives as the fundamental guidelines to operate it: 1. Provide various counseling and motivational services to the students to enrich their life skills 2. Equip them with short term and long term professional skills for their easy career development 3. Help them prepare their professional settlement and entrepreneurship development 4. Work with various business organizations and service agencies to adjust campus graduates 5. Maintain sound institutional relationship with the stakeholders in the line of its institutional development
